Here is a surprising new idea that some people are talking about.
It would end the terrible conflicts and fears of Israelis and Palestinians, and make the future brighter:
The idea is this: The U.S. Congress will offer to admit a new 51st state, just like the other States, called Canaan, to the USA. Every individual Israeli and every Palestinian (including refugees) would become a Citizen of the USA, with all the rights of citizens, including freedom to go anywhere in the 51 States and wherever an American passport will take you. The 311 million "Yanks" would increase by about 2%.
The Israel and the Palestinian legislatures would say "Yes, Thank you," to the Idea and then within a few weeks of work, a Panel of Statehood Experts approved by Congress could revise Palestinian and Israeli laws and systems to conform to the American Constitution. Whereupon this offer of Statehood and Canaan State Constitution would go to all Palestinians and Israelis for approval. That's it. If not already a US citizen, you would become thereby an American citizen from the State of Canaan.
